Future Tech

I thought you guys might like this. Apparently, this company called Liquid Piston has come up with this super efficient diesel engine called the X2. They say its a new rotary design. I've seen rotary engines before but this looks more promising than anything I've seen before. What do you guys think?

The writer stated that this diesel needs to get into the hands of the automakers . This would be the last people that should have this .  Every auto company over the last 50 years that got their "hooks" on this kind of  technology would kill it never to be seen again. Now they are all caught up in the electric car , hybrid stuff.  Believe me when I say that there were a LOT of good ideas that got killed by the automakers.
