You messed up. You should have called Smelly Cat. He may have had some thread and rubber glue, screws left over to patch up your tire. ;D ;D

I am afraid rubber cement does not hold,  I'm testing out my scrap booking glue gun.  Results at 10,  I also want to try bathtub latex.  I did learn that tires at BP12 were like 80 bucks.  If you know were I can get some cheaper.  let me Know.

Virgo,  How bad is the trire on Feebee?  maybe I can slap it on Stupie

I will certainly rescue a tire that is only flat on the bottom,  Since Stupies tires are coming apart on the sides

I have been thinking that packing peanuts might be a solution,  but they don't fit in the valve stem,   So Now I am looking for a discarded bean bag chair full of those little foam BB's

I wanna say coker tires has some inexpensive tires from when they had the contract for the mexi-beetle. I wanna say under 50 bucks. Last time I checked they weren't on the website. I'll look at my bug when I get home and post the name and size.

The tires I got were 165R15's and they are "Futura." I can't find much information about them online except where someone said they were $37 at coker on another forum thread. Heck, even if they have gone up a little, $37 isn't a bad ball park price, plus you can go pick them up. Might be something to look into.

Also, when I got mine, it seemed they had 3 or 4 brands to pick from. Different plies and X thousand mile warranties.... So you might check into what else they sell thats also not listed on the website.

The Furura tires were a buy-out deal from the remaining stock of Pep Boys tires.  Futura is (or was) their in-house brand name.  I used to buy a bunch of them.  Decent tires for a cheap price.  I don't know, do they still have some left?  It's getting harder to find them.  Rick still had some 165/80 R15 Kuhmos at R&M as of Bugapaluza.  Don't know if he still does.
