Fat Mo's

« on: September 22, 2004, 12:32:20 AM »
There is a relatively new restaurant in town (it's been open around 6 months, I think).  Fat Mo's is located in the old Burger King building on Lee Highway, just up from Shallowford Road.  It is a hamburger joint, and let me tell you, they are good!  They have several locations in and around Nashville and one in Chattanooga.  I think that they are really good, a lot better than Cheeburger Cheeburger.  They are a little bit easier on your wallet too.

I have eaten there twice and the first time I got the Fat Mo's Deluxe Burger combo.  Over 16 oz.  Two patties.  Way too much.

This last time I got the Fat Mo's Burger combo.  Only 1/2 lb.  One patty.  Just right.

I talked to them about maybe having a get-together there this Friday night.  They said just to call them about an hour before we plan to show up and they could get some supplies ready, or even take some orders to be ready for when we got there.  Even though I think they are really good, there is hardly anyone else there...they said that Fridays and Saturdays are not that busy at all.

What do y'all think?  Does anyone want to eat there this Friday night?  I know we just had our Sonic Cruise-In last Friday night, but I think that if you like burgers, then you will like this place.  They have burgers, roast beef sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, catfish sandwiches, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, corn dogs, cheese sticks, fried mushrooms, stuffed jalepenos, onion rings, french fries, sodas, milk shakes, and ice cream.  But beware of the 27 oz. burger!  27 OZ!  They also have tables outside in the fenced-in area that housed the old BK playplace.

Post here if you think you would like to show up.  I'll need to call them with an approximate number of people for them to get ready.

But I'm going to go anyway...with or without you!

Wish we could, but Fridays are booked with football through October.  At the rate we're going (Soddy 58, Bradley 0) probably into November, too! :?
Any possibility of a Saturday for some get-togethers?  Don't worry about changing this one to this Saturday, though, cause I'm judging a marching contest.

I would love to make it, but I will be doing an orientation tonight at work.  You all can come by target afterwards though and say hi!!

Also you can take a look at the "Bratz" microbus room in our toy department.  Not sure if this is a new item or not, but I just noticed it last week.

Thanks to all who came out and ate at Fat Mo's.  We systematically showed up a few at a time to ease the pressure on the restaurant staff (that's "nice" for saying a few were late!).
But we had good food and good company...so it was all good.
Thanks again!
