Expensive Bus - priced a little under my mortgage

Do you have a cache of cash just lying around doing nothing but collecting dust and fading in color?  Why not put it to use and help someone buy a new pair of shoes by purchasing their 1966 21-Window Deluxe Microbus?
Check it out at The Samba.
What's it worth to you? ???

These seem to pop up every now in then in every model.   There was a Notchback on Samba a few months ago asking $38k.  It's down to $25k now but still nowhere near a realistic price (IMO).

I think there are misguided people that think that just because they spent $42k having someone else restore thier car for them that it's worth that in the end.  Our VW's are meant to be loved, they just aren't high dollar collectibles no matter how much money you throw at them.

How about this one   : New Beetle RSI on Samba

Well, pick your surface and eat off it!  Nice bus!  Believe it or not, that's not the highest price one has gone for lately!  Check out this link , and be sure to read the whole thing, even though some of the remarks aren't flattering.
