In the pile on the right side next to the 68 bumper left of the broken cart.  I'm not sure if there is one like it but I know where the pile of newer stuff is. there is a decent newer wheel not sure if it's the same.
And yes that really is where it's laying.

Somewhere a heart was broken today as we tossed enough watercooled parts to break your bank. I guess it's officialy over now. I was offered more stuff and turned it down. You just can save it all I guess. My garage is wrecked my hands are perma greased and I might not be able to breath for a month. I'm beat down. I will miss the place.

On the bright side Jim can move on and have a nice retirment and I have way to much junk to sort. I'm not interested in selling any of it,but if someone in the club needs something I'll pass along the savings. I'm sure I'll be trading parts for the next decade with this stuff.

I'd liked to thank all the guys who came out to help,Jim was very apreciative and wanted everyone to know that.To tell the truth I was just as glad to see you all. It was a blast. Everyone who came got pretty much whatever they wanted if they showed more than once. Everyone that came to buy got a steal of a deal. It was a pleasure to watch the old VW guys talk and go on. I learned more in 2 weeks hanging out there than a year doing anything else.

It's a shame if you knew how much stuff got tossed out.Mostly because nobody showed to take it. The water cooled guys would cry, thousands of dollars in parts in the trash. oh well I did my part to save stuff, more stuff than I would have liked to saved. I hope we see more of Jim now that he's freeing up some time.

And with that  goes not just and end to an era,but an end to alot of good times past and present.

Hey, VWGirl...I've got a whole steering wheel/horn button combo from a '93 Fox that I parted out down at Jim's the other day.  Don't need it, so it's yours if you want, let me know.
Looks just like the picture, still in good shape, just dusty.

Don't worry it's not exactly in the way (like the half dozen or more cars are)...I'll leave it on the shelf in the garage for you, just give me a little notice when you're headed this way, or whatever you want to do.

Hey Gr8ul, I'm in contact with Jim and I will find out about the Warranty thing for you. I will need your name. You can send a private message if you care to.
