Make it 1 mule and one Bearfoot then. If you need any temporary storage my house is real close to drag stuff to with plenty of driveways. If anything is being considered for the crusher I'll drag it here until we find an owner.

Scott...give me a call on my cell phone  315-0100
Travis...which one are you talking about?  Jim's been quite busy cleaning house this week.  The only bus he has left is a green/white one, not sure what year, all others are gone.  The lot is emptying out fast.  Same deal, give me a call on my cell phone.
I started stripping cranks last night (sounds kind of naughty, actually).  I've already got a pile of rods approaching the 100+ mark and I started thinking, who gets these?  I can hang on to them for now, but who is blasting, cleaning, etc?

It was a tan/white one with the sliding door off and leaning against it.

As far as extra help goes, my wife has to work today through Thursday so I will have the kids with me.  I will be kid-free on Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 2pm and again on Friday and Saturday.

Herb got 50 rods?Man you must be slacking I helped Rick haul at least 200 out today. Pretty sad sight down at Jims. Lot of  shoveling valve springs and such into a buckets and tossing them. You can almost see the floor in a few spots now. It's slow going and pretty harsh but I figure the guy deserves a break.

Anybody interested in picking up some cheap sheetmetal, etc. come on down.  There's still a ton of stuff in the building but a large selection already sorted out outside.  One tip, Jim is about to go into overload...he's supposed to be out by Dec 1.  If you come down, go through what's outside, make a cash money offer, and run with your treasures.....He's been getting siderailed by folks who've been coming in wanting to talk for 30 mins. or more about the weather and everything else that doesn't matter.  Keep in mind his deadline to get out.  I can assure you there are good deals to be had.  I'm pretty sure that the cars left on the lot are sold, paperwork holding up a promised sale, or his own personal stuff.  Oh, and like David said, don't even ask about the Type 3 Ghia.  We'll be working today (Sunday) if anybody is in the area.  Hey, Herb...50?...heh...You're a girly man.  The young guys be kickin' yo' booty.
Thanks to Scott who helped with the clean out.  He scored some cool treasures in exchange for his efforts, as well.

Allright you so called VW fanatics,Get your butt down to Jims and get you a truckload of goodies! Seriously if you have n't been down go now. You can pretty much fill your truck up for $100 or even less. I know some folks already raided the place but we keep finding more so it's far from gone. I've been down helping out for 4 days and I don't need to bring anything else home ever. For those wanting to help I'm sure Jim will make you a deal there's alot of dirty work left to do. So wear old clothes and make yourself a deal. Or cry when it's alll gone. There will be no mercy for those who don't go down when your looking for that hard to find part.

Almost forgot, welcome home Godfather. I've done my best to keep the borders safe from the triangle militia. I suspect they have been infiltrating while I was at Jims defending the parts stash. Oh Jim gave me a welder so now I'm officialy dangerous. :D

Not much is left.  If you want to check and see what there is, I would get there tomorrow.  He is supposed to be out of there by Thursday morning.

I think it's still there. You could probably still find some super parts nobody really took off with them. If stupie gets new glass he may want more.

Jim will be there tommorrow and a little bit on saturday. after that Lockharts is no more. officially he's closed but if you come down for super parts I doubt he'd turn you away.
