Dual steering Beetle

Definitely one of the strangest and coolest cars I think I've seen...a '55 driver's ed car. Dual batwings, both functional! I like how they even painted 10 and 2 on it.

Extremely sweet original California car. Original owner up until 2007. One outside respray many years ago, looks convincingly original with just mild patina. Freshly rebuilt original engine, runs and drives excellent. Has German period driver's training dual control pedal assembly, factory dual rear view mirror and visors... and dual functional bat wing steering wheels!! 1955 era door logos pulled from period photos. Interior is excellent. Body and chassis are extremely solid and rust free. This is a one of a kind car that will be the talk of any VW show anywhere in the world!

Many detailed photos and specs available at http://www.oldbug.com/sales.htm

Found more info on it here: http://www.oldbug.com/55dual.htm

It's not an original driver training vehicle, but it's been faithfully recreated using the original equipment and painted/accessorized to be period perfect.

How about that pedal linkage!?!

I'd give up band directing if I could teach driver's ed. in the high schools. We do a teen driving school (TCRS) with the SCCA that lets the kids practice emergency maneuvers and skid control, but the parents or courts have to sign them up.
