What in the world is a rice burner doing looking at a WORLD CLASS Volkswagen web site and reading our forums?

There is one car being built within our club, as we speak, that will most likely blow the doors completly off ANY "rice burner" in the area on a drag strip. This is not a brag, just fact.

It sounds like we need to do some serious checking into the drag racing possibilities for those interested. This is not everyones "cup of tea" but there are Folks out there who live for this activity.

For Those of You Interested,     I spoke with a good friend of mine last night about the drag racing and he just happens to be on first name basis with the owner of Brainerd Optomist Drag Strip. He is going to talk with him and run the idea by him about the drags and using the strip Saturday afternoon and maybe even Friday evening.   I will keep everyone posted.

We need to keep track of the interest in this possible event.

Well folks.

I posted this idea on the STF and got a dismal response from people. As a matter of fact I got exactly 0 response by E-mail as requested. I guess I will just let the matter die for now.

Thanks to all of you that were responsive to the idea. Still think Josh will take the car to the track anyway
