what! Michael J ackson died too?
Michael Jason, Michael J ackson AND Farrah, and earlier this week we lost Ed McMahon! Oh, and Michael
Jackson died too!
I wasn't a big fan of Mr. Jackson's later music, but I did like a several Jackson 5 tunes when I was kid. I wasn't really that shocked when I heard he had died . . . I saw him in an interview on TV a few weeks ago talking about his upcoming world tour and he looked almost dead then.
Farrah was 62 and had bravely battled cancer for some time, but right up til the end she was a beauty. :angel8:
Ed not only entertained a generation or two, he introduced Johnny Carson every night after the 11:00 news for many years, he sold us dog food, made us believe that we may have already won $8 million, and searched out new tallent to entertain us long after he was gone. More important that all that, most folks probably don't know that he served as a Marine flight instructor in Florida during World War II. He was recalled to active duty during the Korean War, and flew 85 combat missions in an artillery-spotting plane. Rest in peace, Mr. McMahon! :salute: :usa2:
