I was thinking about getting a recumbent bike for BP 16 to get from the camping area to the show. It seemed like a good idea until I saw how much they were :'( . That got me thinking about alternatives. After some googling, I found these guys who have open source plans. I think the desing could be improved by bolting on a VW lowback seat
. I wonder how hard this would be...? Here is video of some in action:

They are awkward, I prefer a regular bike, dad has some he sold at the last show
