Here are the pics I need help with Sir Godfather!

With the pedal stop turned away from the normal placement

Pedal stop all the way toward rear and clutch pedal touching pedal stop

Same as above but with pedal touching the plate

Steel part of pedal straight up in the 12 o'clock position

JR, That stop plate looks too short on the bottom where the bolt goes. I can't see any problem with the pedals. I made one out of some flat stock and made  a longer bolt slot to bring it back further on Albert's cluster.

That's exactly what I was telling ya on the phone last night.  I think the plate is too short.  I bought it from CIP1.  It's a new plate.  I am going to add-on to it so that it is long enough.  Thanks for your input.

Sometimes it doesn't sink in but photos don't lie. I think you said  that you replace the pans ?  I wonder if the bolt hole was drilled in the wrong spot ?? I have seen stuff like that on after market parts.

I believe you are correct.  Time to break out some scrap metal and the welder and add on to my plate.  Thanks for looking at the pics and note that even though you said it was impossible, some things are possible  :D  (before you say it, I know that if everything was as original, it would have been impossible)

Came in too late in the conversation, but I think David is right. I have had more than one set of pans that, after installed, required a modified pedal stop....

Nothing like precision measurements on aftermarket parts.
