I received a call about an hour ago telling me of Ronnies death. From what Steve Sands posted on STF Ronnie died 11/19/07 as the result of an injury that was work related.

I am sure many of you have heard of Ronnie or met Ronnie over the years. He built the first engine and transaxel for Copper Jewel and then later built the super trans for the car. Ronnie set the example of the type individual you want to do business with.  He never was too busy to take the time to talk with you in person or on the phone, even if it did delay him working on a project. Ronnie was quick with the joke and a joy to be around. The VW world has lost a great man. Please remember Ronnie's family in your prayers. More information will be posted on the STF as far as funeral arrangements.
