Looks like a nice original car!  As for suggestions as she fixes it up . . . I'd fix what needed to be fixed to make it safe and functional and do as little as possible to the rest of it.  Anybody (with enough money) can do a full blown frame off restoration and make a car look new again . . . but you only have one shot at an original, un-restored car.
