Hey Zen,  have you got a compression checker Gauge  I can Borrow?
I want to check this  toyota van that I put a head gasket in.  and I can't figure out what the heck is wrong with it.  It runs on 1 cly  which is  pretty good  and beats my last repair on Stupie when I ran on 2 pistons. but I think 4 cyl's would be better

Hey S.C.  4 clys are always good unless you have a 6 cly.
A comp. check would be good.  I don't know a cotton-pick'n thing about a Toyota and don't want to . Just remember that Kenmore and Maytag parts boxes plus a pint of Permatex does not a head gasket make.  Good Luck !!

I think I have  plugwireretardation,  When ever i plug the wires in a car engine,,,  I do it wrong.  If I had a one cly lawn mower I'd problay screw that up too.  On this bloomin toy van I had them all wrong except one.  Golly I quit.    SC

Don't feel too bad.  That's a big problem here in the "triangle."  I've had a bad case or two of it myself.  I hear that there was a local shortage of the vaccine for it back in our childhood years.
