I already read an article about this new hybrid that stated it got like 83.9 mpg but maybe that article was still in metric or in imperial gallons. At least it gets more than the Prius and produces less emissions. Hopefully this will make it across the pond to here.

What they should do is just bring back that 3 cylinder diesel Lupo that got 80 mpg.

You don't think the oil Barons are going to sit back and let these high fuel mileage diesels get away with this do you ?    They will run the price up as fuel mileage goes up until it makes owning a Diesel  not practical. Diesel already cost more than gas now
      If someone came up with the anwser, They would have to fear for their lives.
