I had no idea Chip Foose had a VW or that he loved it so much.

I just watched it twice...

Cool video.  I had no idea he was a VW lover myself.   8)

Nice.
Is this a multi part ad campaign or is this the only one?

It's from "Golf R Drivers Forever", an iPad app they released to promote the Golf R coming out soon (in the US anyways). But it's got tons of videos and photos chronicling a lot of VW Golf history, going back all the way to the Mk1. Highly recommended if you have an iPad.

Keep an eye open for Chip's show "Overhaulin" on Velocity. They do a 21-window bus in a "concept car" theme for a guy in California. It ends up becoming a 23-window, but not in the location you'd think!

^^^ Last I saw, that bus was listed for sale on the Samba.... I guess the owner's love affair with the completed project was short-lived.   :-\

I always took issue with the Wolfsburg crest on the sides, being that the bus came from Hanover. Here's the Hanover crest:

I think he was required to keep it for a year as per the terms of being on the show but I had seen it was listed for $125k at one time. A bit much even if Chip Foose did design it.
