Two questions about Chilhowee: What's up with a bleep-bleep-bleep up there who doesn't like us? AND exactly how hard is it on a bus to get up Chilhowee? I haven't braved any big mountains yet.
I didn't attend the Chilhowee affair so I'll let someone else fill you in on that. But on the mountains . . . Homer the SuperBus has cruised over Monteagle, Lookout Mt. and Sand Mt. many, many times. He's geared for a 1700 Type 4 since that's what he left the factory with, but he's now (under) powered by a stock 1600 Type 1. Still, he'll take about any hill or mountain you can throw at him . . . just as long as you're not in a hurry! Homer is a good ol' bus. He'll take up in the mountains if that's where you really want to go, but personally, he prefers flat ground. In fact, he was telling me the other day that he wanted to take another trip to Florida. He won't admit it, but I think he likes warm weather too.
You know, I really need to fix that exhaust leak!
