Gregg, we are discussing this and it has brought up a few peripheral issues that we are still working out.

Understand that the intent is to avoid a real or perceived bias towards club members's cars when it comes to judging and awards. There are many shows that allow members to enter their own cars. Of course the surrounding club members know how much work the owner has put into it since they observe the build over months or years. We made this decision years ago to avoid the bias and make sure that the show participants leave happy and feel they got fairly judged.
