Bug-a-paluza 7 Question and Comment...

« on: May 20, 2005, 10:40:36 AM »
Sorry it has taken so long but I wanted to say how much fun I had at the event. It was my first show and my family and I had a good time. Kudos to all those who had a part in preparing an excellent occasion.

Next...I saw this bug at the show and I am wondering if anyone knows who's it is. The pic I found and copied only for the purpose of finding its owner. Once I know that I will take it off. Apparently my pics messed up in the camera from the show...

Thanks, Herb. Somebody at the show mentioned it might have been Zen's but I wasn't sure about that. The name on the white tag had Zen on it but I thought the image would have kept it for reference later. I thought he was into Busses? I was just curious at the specs and some particulars about it. Wanted to emulate some of the body work and design...(waiting for a slap from the Godfather, haha) Stock...Original...Stock...Original, I can hear him now!

OK, now I remember the car . . . it may have been Zen's.  Not me, the "other" Zen.  Zen Hardy.  It was parked right next to his black German Look Super Beetle.

Yes, that was the name on the card. Thanks for jogging my memory. Does anyone know how to get in touch with him by chance?

He posts under the name "taozen" on the Southeastern Forum ( http://www.shoptalkforums.com ).  His personal email address isn't listed under his profile, but he runs a web service business.  He has a couple of web sites you might be able to contact him through . . . I think they are http://www.theartofzen.com and http://www.taozen.com.  You might get in touch with him by posting on the Southeastern Forum, but I don't remember seeing him post anything there in a month or so.
