Body work help

« on: April 09, 2011, 08:40:52 PM »
Does anyone have an idea what a good paint job would cost on a 72 SB?  It has several rust spots, but nothing too bad.  Also, could anyone recommend a VW friendly body shop in Chattanooga?  Thanks in advance for all of the help.

Thanks.  I would like to have a good job on it, just did not have a clue what it would cost.

Come to Bugapaluza and look around. Find cars with Hamilton County or other local county tags and ask them about their paint job. You might find someone who can do it and knows VWs.

Harrison paint and body. They can do show quality restoration BUT it will come at a price.  I have seen his work and must say it is very very good!  (423) 344-3859

My father in law got his classic lincoln repainted there at Peachtree on shallowford rd and it looks great and has held up for a number of years. It was around $275 if i remember correctly. It is not a world of wheels type paint job but looks good going down the road and turns peoples heads as it goes by when he drives it.

That name sounds familiar.  If he's the guy who used to be at Kelly that I am thinking of, dude does some nice work.   8)

Yeah it turned out great.  I've been working non stop to get all the new camper interior in it and it is looking good.  I can't believe it, but it looks like "Mo" is going to make it to BAP this year after all!  :)

I can attest to the beauty. Brian asked for help putting the hi-top back on and its really nice and clean. The outside looks good...but the inside is amazing! And I only saw it when it was half done!
