I am getting ready to start metal work on the front of my '74 Ghia because of past fender benders and over zealous use of bondo. When this work is complete, I'll be looking for someone with experience, and preferably with references, to do the bondo work. Does anyone have someone they can recommend? Thanks.

Are you looking for a show quality job or just a nice driver that looks good. There are several places around town just depends on your budget.

Just looking for decent bondo work, as this car is just a daily driver with occasional show-and-shine duty. Thanks.

Try Post motor company.Henry Post. He used to be near Dallas bay area/lakesite. He also used to work for VW long ago. Anyways I'm not sure if he is still there he was getting ready to move to Dayton. Good solid work and honest and upfront. He'll tell what he can and cant do for the amount you want to spend.I've had work done by him before and it looked good.I've also seen his top notch work on a 32 Ford.

bbbrim I would make then do a good job anyway.Ask what they don't do for a nice job. What do they cut out to make it cheaper lol.I had my dirt track car fixed one time. They stuffed the dent with newspapers chicken wire and bondo.I got hit on that side and send the spectators running. They didn't know what was going on.Me either.I can't believe that guy mademe pay 400 dollars for a dent then did that.Even if it was just a dirt track car.Boy some people.
