I don't know exactly what this has to do with VWs, but Art Clokey, the creator of Gumby and Pokey turns 90 today.  There's a cool "Google Doodle" in his honor on Google's homepage.  I loved Gumby and Pokey when I was a kid.  They stood out from hand drawn cartoons because of their 3D look . . . kind'a a Computer Generated look, but all done one frame at time in clay.  No wonder this world's in the shape it's in . . . everybody is too lazy to put that much work into anything, much less into a kid's cartoon.
