I've got a 70 Baja bug.  It was my daily driver for a while. Then I got my bus . . . I'm a big guy and the bus was a better fit, so I parked it.  I gave it to my youngest son, but he wasn't fond of shifting, so I got an old Mercury Tracer wagon going and swapped with him.  The Baja is sitting down at my log cabin in the same spot we parked it about 3 years ago.  I've also got a home made rail buggy sitting down there I've had for about 6 months or so.  I've got to get some floors put in it and slap this old 40 horse engine I've got on it someday.

There's nothing like romping through the woods or mud in an old VW . . . I just haven't had the time or money to do a lot of it the past few years.   8)
