An inside source at, well, the source has just informed me that 2 shiny new Turbo S New Beetles have just arrived at VW of Chattanooga.  one Black, one Red.

Any Volksfolks want a stab at one of these two hot cars?

I truly hate you didn't get the lack one Jai, it sure is pretty. I didn't look real close at the red one but we've already got a new NB so why look?

you are kidding right?!  you can't have proper "soom" w/ a slushbox, VW is finally coming up to par w/ thier tranny's and this is supposed to be a new peak and you want to destroy all that fun w/ an auto.  Poor Poor Perk, like someone else said...you aint right  :biggrin:

Seriously, my other half has started talking a little lately about wanting a beetle and when I told her about the TS she got kinda excited, but she too was lamenting the lack of auto.  Anyone know what colors this will be available in?

Left hand: cell, get a hands free kit
Right hand: visor, it hangs from the roof just fine (he he)
Left foot: VolksFolks News, you can read this while wating for the state trooper to finish up the ticket
Right foot: bottled water, shouldn't drink and drive any way
Knees: Ok drive with them if you must

Looks like you can have a 6 speed now.

Driving to town this morning on the Interstate, I looked over to my left and there was a woman in a brand new Mustang doing 65 miles per hour with her face up next to her rear view mirror putting on her eyeliner! I looked away for a couple seconds and when I looked back she was halfway over in my lane, still working on that dang makeup!!! It scared me so bad I dropped my visor, which knocked the bottled water out of my other hand. In all the confusion of trying to straighten out the car using my knees against the steering wheel, it knocked my cellphone away from my other ear which fell into the coffee between my legs and DISCONNECTED AN IMPORTANT CALL!!!!!!!

DANG WOMEN DRIVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
