I had a Jetta not long ago which the customer dropped off on Friday,  I diagnosed the following Monday, and with down time for approval, parts ordering, and eventual repair did not get fixed until Tuesday of the following week (They were out of town and it took us several days to get hold of them)  When I went to pull the car in for the repair, I noticed a rather strong aroma coming from the interior of the car.  Evidentally, lunch the day it was dropped off was courtesy of Taco Bell.  The bag, complete with leftovers, had been in the front floorboard baking in the summer heat for a week-and-a half.  Yum.
All I want to know David is do chicken mites have beaks and feathers too?
Is that what they make Chicken McNuggets from?
Yeah, 100% all white meat my rear end.

My all time favorite on the old cars was a 1938 Olsmobile limosine special that my grandfather had. In 1956 I can remember him driving me back to my parents at 114 mph.
And this will make you sick, my uncle still has it and has finally offered it to me! Eat your hearts out!
Oh, it's all original!

No beaks Grasshopper . I think they had lips. Didn't stick around long enough to check them out.  It would take about 1,374,673 chicken mites to make 1 McNugget. Yum,Yum. Just think how long it would take to catch , behead and gut to get ready for compacting into 1 Nugget. YUK !    :puke: I was going to cook up breakfast. Oh Well.

Which brings me to another point...have you ever read the packaging for that "Carl Budding" style meat stuff...they use phrases like "Mechanically seperated" in the description...what in the name of Hell does that mean?  I must admit, I find it to be a bit unsettling and it makes me a bit woozy thinking about it.

TRUE Story from a local teacher regarding food products and their given names:  While watching a video in science class about genetics, the video showed a buffalo.  One student ( of middle school age) asked what the animal was.  The teacher replied "that is a buffalo".... A bit puzzled, she asked, DEAD SERIOUSLY, "If they're so big, why are their wings so small?"

To quote the heavy metal group Metallica....
SAD BUT TRUE...

Speaking of chickens, a chicken truck drove off of Old Georgia 2 trying to turn on to Keith Road. Somehow he was able to drive completely off the road and straighten the truck out... how he was able to do that with those trees in his way is beyond me.

The one we had also had the big brass register on the counter and it was located in the center of downtown near the Memorial Auditorium.  It was a restraunt/bar.. one of the cool ones that did the live music thing as well.  It's re-opened with the same name now, but I still haven't been there yet.  They sold the register along with everything else when the old one closed down.  I have no idea if the new place has the namesake or not.
It was pretty cool, though... and the Plymouth always sat in the parking lot across the street from it.
Persionally, I was always more impressed with getting to see the car than I was to see the Mocs play football.
