"New" Allison dunebuggy body?

« on: August 07, 2006, 10:20:57 PM »
Some discussion has come forth here in my town about pulling a new mold off of my Allison Dunebuggy before we start the paint work.

Points to Ponder:  Would there be any interest in a "New" reproduction  Allison body.  I would imagine the cost per body would be around $2k-3k(just a guess).

Does anyone know a reputable professional fiberglass person who might build this new mold?

Fred, this post got pass me. I think the Buggy market is making a comeback. I would love to see a Allison Mk-2 back on the market.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but did I read somewhere that Bruce Meyer is going back into the buggy business ?

Yep, the Myers Manx was re-released by Mr. Bruce Myers himself a year or two back.  Seems like he had 2000 of them made . . . and they sold out as fast they were produced.
