Zen, I am not sure on that, but the owner is Kip from Unique and Rare in Bradenton, FL (I think that's where he's from). He's the one that has had these Fridolins at the shows before. He also drove (or had someone else drive) that Kubel in the Bug Jam pictures.
So, saying that, I would have to assume that it is not a reproduction. He has come up with some pretty rare vehicles in that past, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was the real thing.
