Well, you know I like older women and all, but, I gotta draw the line somewhere

It was a really good time yesterday.. and, for some reason, my car did attract the older crowd- (which I would say is 60+btw,).. They all had the "I bought one just like it in xx" stories.. which was really enjoyable to hear..

I think everyone thought I was being anti social, but, I had a hell of a time just sittin behind my car and takin it all in :wink: .. After all, who else got to see the chicken dance with a front row seat

  Nope.  Nothing.  Homer the Superbus had won the "Ugliest VW" award 3 years in a row, then didn't make it last year 'cause he was out of commission for a week or two getting a new engine.  I was hoping he would pick up where he left off and get back to his winning ways, but they didn't give awards this year.     And they didn't have Weiner Dog Races either.    But I got to hang out with some really cool folks and look at a few nice VWs AND teach my grandson how to make a fool of yourself in public . . . so it was a pretty good day after all!  

Not old, just smarter.   Chris told me that going from 400 hp to 40 hp was   pretty neat. He also told me that more people look at the '61 going down the road than looked at his fabulous H20 collection.  That makes two more smart people :lol:  :lol:

Well Maybe I aint smarter afterall cause that GTI he has is bad. I like alot of the water pumpers in the collection he has.
