Slow Starter Post over 50 page problem?

For like the last 2 months, I cannot look into the "As the Starter Turns" soap opera that is the life of Stupie the wonder bug.

I get periodic announcements that there is a new episode, but when I tune into that station (p.49, or hit just the last post button) all I get is the generic ther isn't any new posts or something page.

Does any one else have this problem, it seemed like I was talking to someone about this very subject at the cruise in for june. I think that it was Road kill, but I am not sure, but they were having the same problem.

A while back I purged a lot of old accounts that hadn't visited in a long time, and didn't indicate they wanted to keep their account when I emailed them. It removed their posts too, which seems to have screwed up the pagination on some longer threads. I've been trying to find a way to get them reindexed but haven't had any luck so far.

If you go back one page to 48, you can see the latest posts.

I'll look for some VW-themed emoticons too. If you know of any, let me know and I'll put them in.

Well I just made a post in the slow starter thread and it got pushed to page 49, so that seemed to fix it somehow.
