Is it possible to change my screen name from 67 bugnut to just "Bugnut"??
I sold the 67 and wont be getting another one so the 67 part makes no sense now.    If one of the moderators can change it without me loosing all my post then thanks in advance. :D

I was sooo close to buying it when Moe sold it. I had just sold my 52 and it was a heart string pulling debate as to buy it or not.  The fact is it's just too darn nice for me to own.

Yeah? So was my mexi when I bought her... she still is. But I drive her cause she's a car and that's what she does best (when her engine is in her anyway!)  So now she's been wrecked and fixed with OEM parts from mexico and repainted (tho needs repainted again because that was probably the worst body shop in the tristate area) and I put a new canvas top on her last year... and she's still as gorgeous as the day I first saw her! But I've also logged 50,000 kilometers on her in the two and a half years we've been together!

There is nothing like cruising around with the top back in my new old bug :) tho I'm not saying there is anything like driving my bus or my fasty either. But id hate to see aany of them ever be parked again in their lives!

I refuse to own a car that I dont drive. Most folks that own aircooled vw's drive something else as a daily. If my car sits foe more than a few days its time to sell it.

Soon as it warms up me and FeeBee will be on the road. She will be my daily driver and the F150 will be the garage King. I did drive her last weekend and almost froze to death there seems to be bit of a draft where the radio is supposed to go. I'm looking for someone to put her carpet in and change out her dash pad  for a small fee of course.

ASBug has been my DD for the past 3 weeks as the Kia is terminal....Timming belt - nuff said.
Gets warm after about 10 minutes, would be faster, but my fresh air box flaps have NO seals left...Gotta fix that.  Also have to put my new door seals on.  Hasn't been warm enough since I bought them...

I herby excuse Albert from daily driver duties during winter months. Unless you officially lose your mind then have at it.  The last 2 days the cold has been putting a beating on my battery big time not to mention not having a choke set up on mine. Takes a a lil convincing.
