Moderator Questions

« on: September 18, 2004, 11:43:12 PM »
When I made a post in the events section about Rusty Resto's grand opening, I selected the "type" of post as an announcement.  This seems to do the same thing a "pinning" a topic used to do . . . keeps it at the top.  But, in the old forums, as a moderator, you could pin and un-pin topics.  I don't see anyway to keep this announcement from staying at the top . . . I can split it, move it, or delete it, but I don't see a way to just "un-pin" it amd let it drop down the list.  Am I overlooking something?

Okay, I found a mod that will allow moderators to un-sticky/un-announce a thread, as well as turn a normal thread into a sticky or an announcement.
