For those that may not be familiar with the mechanism we are discussing here, we're talking about cookies. Cookies are tiny bits of information that the messageboard script stores on your computer. This is how the board keeps track of your login information, which posts you've read, which ones are new, etc. It does this by examining the cookies stored on your computer. However there may be times/places you don't want the board storing this information on the computer you're using, for instance, if you like to read the forum from work. You can manually remove cookies by clicking on the link at the bottom of the main page. I haven't seen the source code for the board, but I'd gather somehow the board is not saving cookies correctly. This is why it doesn't retain our login information, or why the "new posts" feature may be showing you old posts. Hopefully by the final release of IkonBoard this issue will be resolved 100%, but in the meantime Perk and Andy are working hard to make sure this board is as spiffy as possible.

It's not a "bug", it's an "undocumented feature"
