This isn't site related but maybe someone here can help me out.  I've been trying to recover from a virus attack on my computer that happened several months ago.  I finally got everything working pretty decent but I can't install Window critical updates.  It downloads the patches but gives and error message when they try to install.  Today I started getting the same message when I tried to install a virus scan update.  I've tried re-installing Windows 98 but it keeps giving me the same message.  If anyone can help point me in the right direction to fix this I'd really appreciate it!  The message looks like this:
