I'd like an animated running Type 1 engine.  Can you do that?

Anyone else want a cool(er) avatar? Anyone? Anyone? Going once...

How about one with my Bus (either one) getting passed by traffic on the interstate.  Or just getting passed anywhere.

Need pictures?

Yeah. Got any images of it (either one) on the road?

Is that it for the avatars? Should I close the animation studio?

Russ,

Can you convert a short MPEG movie into an animated .gif?  If so, I've got one that would make a great avatar.  It's a "Soundwagon" in operation.

A Soundwagon is a self-contained record player that looks like a split window VW bus.  It runs on a 9 volt battery, has a speaker in the roof and a needle on the bottom.  You raise the antenna to turn it on, sit it on an old vinyl 33 1/3 rpm record and it drives around the record following the grooves and playing it.

Yes, an mpeg can be converted to an animated gif. Is there anywhere I can download the movie from?

I tried uploading it to my thinkaccess site, but I'm over my limit there . . . I uploaded it to Geocities, but when I tried to access it directly, it wouldn't let me (that used to work before Yahoo! took them over) . . . I've got 25 Megs of web space with Comcast, but I haven't tried to use it yet.  What if I just email it to you?  There are two different ones and they are only 473KB each.

Zen I tried converting the mpeg file to an animated gif but it ate up my virtual memory and locked up. It can be done, but it'll need a higher end computer than what I've got. Maybe Andy can do it.
