I've actually had a harder time finding the other stock cars in the Cars toy line(Leak Less, Nitroade, Chick) than I've had finding Fillmores. I've only seen one Leak Less and Nitroade ever.

Talk about hard to find . . . Ever seen "Hamm" ???  I've got the only one I've ever seen!  Buzz and Woody are also kind'a hard to find.  They are pretty cool . . . but still not as cool as my beat up, non-opening go-bot.

I've never really looked for anything other than fillmore... i figured the vw addiction was bad ebough with 1000+ vw toys... i dont need to add the cars addiction in there!

it'd be cool to have one of the tractors tho!

Katie has the "Hamm" car, Emilee has the "New Mater"...my personal favorite is the "Fabulous Hudson Hornet" version of Doc Hudson.  It just looks cool.
Oh, and yes, THEY PLAY WITH THEM ALL.
I think it would be too cruel to put a sealed toy in front of my kids and tell them they could only look at them.
I collect toys to have toys, not as an investment.
And, yes, I may very well play with them on occasion, too.
That rule applies to the little ones as well as the big ones.

As I recall, the Go-Bots came first. I had several in 83 to early 84, before I ever heard of the Transformers, which was maybe a year later. If "ghetto" means you could buy two for the price of one Transformer, then I was a bunch of GoBot-havin' ghetto boy! I also liked the Transformers when they came out, especially the F-15-ish planes. Had to have Starscream and the black/purple ones first.

All that go-bot and transformer stuff is way beyond me. I grew up with GI Joe, plastic army men and playing cowboys and indians. Life was simple then... just like a VW :D

Hmmm...I'm going through my VWs this week for the
Antiques and Collectibles show; have to see if there's a
Bumblebee hiding in the shadows. If I find one before I
have to pack, I'll try to post.
