Bay window toys

Here's a couple of bay window toys I picked up at the show in Decatur and probably paid too much for, but you hardly ever find bay window toys. The guy I bought them from had one of the best VW toy collections I'd ever seen. He had all kinds of rare and unique stuff rather than the usual toys you see everywhere. I asked if he had a website and he doesn't, but he gave me his phone number on a card which I have somewhere.

The red one is 1:40 scale and made by Kovap, a Czech company. It looks brand new and I got the box for it.

The blue/white one is 1:64 scale by Zylmex. It's a little beat up, says "Drag Van" across the top and the sliding door opens.

You can find more photos in my Flickr Photostream.

Russ,
I'd love to work it (BAP rules!), but until I
get a better display-specifically one that can
both be better secured at night, and can deal
with wind/rain on a serious level-I just can't
take a pile of toys and hope for the best lol...
Even under the pavillion at Bug'n it's a long,
hot day at best-that meaning it might well be
a very windy and/or rainy show every year.
There's a group that wants us to consider a
move to the Huntsville Depot; it's a great venue
(I work the AACA show there), but I don't
have far to drive, and can make my ultimate
call that morning if need be. It's completely
outside, and pop-ups are fine for shade and
light rain, but you don't get to pick lol...

There was an error while liking
Liking...
