Antique Show w/VW Toys

« on: February 10, 2005, 01:12:49 PM »
Hi, guys; my name is Dolphe Mills, and I hope to see some of you at the Antique and Collectible Show in Huntsville, Alabama this weekend (benefits the Huntsville Rehabilatation Foundation). Show is 9-5 Saturday Feb. 12, and 11-4 Sunday Feb. 13; admission as well as parking is free, with a nice inside venue. I'll have 200+ VW toys, and several of the regional clubs say they will roll by. General questions answered here; directions at the email below.

                             Hope to see you!  Dolphe

Thanks for posting this!  I talked to you at Huntsville last July, but I had misplaced the card you gave me.  I was thinking it was sometime in February, but could rember exactly when . . . and I had no idea where.  I'm going to try to make it over there.

Anyone else interested in going?

Hope to see you! Weren't you at the NAVWC gtg at the VW
dealership last summer? Thought you had parts, and toys as well.

Is that being held this coming weekend? I'd love to go but I guess I'd better work on trophies.

Well, I was just looking at my bank account.  What few $$s I might have had to spend the Doctor and Pharmasist got yesterday . . . and Joy's going to the Doctor again later today.  I guess anywhere involving spending money is out for this weekend (and a few more after that!).   :(

 :-k  . . . and then there's the trophy thing Herb mentioned.   #-o   I just noticed that the countdown to Bug-A-Paluza is down to 63 days.  Time to go into our club equivalent of a 2 minute offence.  We've got what? . . . 150 . . . 160 . . . 170? trophies to build?

See you sometime this weekend Herb.   8)

Yeah, empty wallet syndrome gets all of us sometimes...That
said, the show IS free, and you could just have a pleasing afternoon
out of town. We're glad to see you regardless.

I need new toys.  Yes I do.  But, my daughter has a birthday party to attend at 11am, and we have a father/daughter dance at 6pm.

I can't leave town.
Or do anything else for that matter.

Wish you could come; that said, you will be where you need to be,
  and your family knows it. Toys are fun, but being there is beyond price;
I work on the local crisis line, and one of my favorite lines is, " You can't
buy time back". We'll meet another time, maybe with your family. Kudos
for being the dad so many are not.
