1/6 Scale Herbie Remote Controls

« on: December 05, 2005, 07:25:55 PM »
If anyone is wanting a 1/6th scale Herbie R/C, there are 2 of them in the Summerville, GA Wally World and 10, yes TEN (10), of them in the LaFayette Wally World.  There are also a bunch of the 1/18th Herbies and split window Bus R/C cars at LaFayette.  I'm gonn'a fool 'em this time . . . I'm NOT buying ANY of them!

They've dropped the price on them a couple of times now but still haven't sold any . . . until tonight when I noticed they had dropped them down to $40!  I was in the Reatta so I figured I better stop at 2 or I'd have to make Joy walk home.

There are still 8 of them in LaFayette Wally World priced at $40 . . . somebody help me out here and buy 'em out before I get paid again!

Oh, by the way, if you are in the market for some of the 1/6th scale buses, check out all the Dollar General Stores in your area.  Some of their stores have the buses for $50.

The $40 Herbies didn't last but about 24 hours (and no, I didn't buy all of them . . . just 4 . . . and 2 of them were for other people  8) ).  If you are still looking for one, there were 3 in the Trion/Summerville Wally World as of yesterday morning.  They are marked down, but not quite as low as LaFayette marked them down.  They are $49.  This is probably your last chance.

I take it Zen has trouble making it by the toy dept as far as vw's go.He and my wife Cathy are Wally World experts.Knows what's on each shelf. If I want to find my wife all I have to do is call Wally World and ask for her by her first name.Someone will know if she is there or not lmao.Just kidding Zen.

Say he just can't say no to vw toy's.Zen say these words" No More VW TOYS" Bet that worked.About like my wife collecting barbe dolls. She collect's things that are on their way out.She doesn't try to order extra's to sell to help try to pay for hers.My wife and I are going to have to sit down and have a long talk about these dolls.I kid you not.900 dolls still in boxes.I believe we have a little BI-Polar disease here.We could use the money instead of throwing it away.On things like vw part's that are worth something.

At one time, I was trying to keep up with the Zenmeister, maybe even pass him at some point, but my collecting has been in a slump here lately. Our split window bus has to have a new engine and "parts ain't cheap". I still love my toys but you have to draw the line somewhere.

I still say it's an addiction that Zen and I can't help.

He who dies with the most toys...............wins!!!!! I don't know what "he" wins but he still wins.

But he who survives inherits the winner's toys!

Don't let Herb fool you . . . I'm working on a Volkswagen toy museum.  Herb already has one.   8)
