OK, now I haven't actually seen these YET, but Justin just called me from the Big Lots in Dalton and said they had 2 die cast 1/18th scale 1962 Deluxe Microbuses with a working fabric rag top, highly detailed interior including the middle seat and jail bars, opening doors, etc. It sounded to me like he was describing one of the Franklin Mint models, but he read everything on the package and I didn't hear any familiar names. It's made in Hong Kong by some company I've never heard of.
Anyway, there were only 2 in Dalton . . . a White over Red and a White over Teal . . . and they are $17.77 each! I need to miss a few meals this week anyway, so I told him to get me both of them. Everyone head straight to your closest Big Lots as soon as they open in the morning, and good luck!
