Pardon me while I whip this out...

« on: December 06, 2011, 02:31:09 PM »
Ok,
I was given a freebie 2gb thumb drive a while back.  It was that free blue rubber one with the metal swing around cover that everyone is giving out...  Any way the case was messed up so I had it setting on the desk at work when I saw the little VW bus I keep on the desk that was a give away when the VW Place in Chattanooga opened.  I said to myself, "Self, that looks like it might just fit inside the bus..."
Self agreed that I should try, so I removed the little spring motor and modified the penny holder on the back of the bus and Voila!
I hope you like it, it turned out rather well.

The rear wheels do not roll, but could be made to, the clips for the little motor look like they were made to hold the circuit board of the drive.
If you look at the last photo you can see the busy light above the front tire and I can see it glowing inside the bus as I type this.
