What kinda coal are we talking about here, David?

I found pellets listed on the Lowe's website, but wasn't sure if that was the same thing that your stove uses....  :-\

Like lump/sack coal use in homes furnaces in the pass, steam engines boilers. The stuff they use to mine around here. You could buy it by the sack or truck load.

If I'm not mistaken, you mentioned that you got your last truck load from Alcoa, TN? is that correct? If so, would it be simple enough for one of us to grab a bag or five the next time we are near Knoxville? I know I go up there about once a month or so.

On a web search, I have found that one guy was interested in looking for coal for a blacksmithing forge. Perhaps Mike would know a good source. If not, try calling Southern Hearth and Patio, or Northertool. Those places probably sell coal burning fireplaces and should be able to direct you to a supplier.

I did a Google search for Bulk Coal Retail in TN . . . I found some links to a few Coal and Coke wholesalers in the Knoxville area.  I didn't find anything local.

There is not enough coal around here to waste on you Guys  ;D     I was thinking more along the lines of pipe bombs or worse yet a date with Nancy Pelosi in a Westy. ::)
