Where to get heads machined?

Hey.
I'm in Cleveland, TN.

I can't find any place that can machine the heads on my '78 Westy. I've asked Joe at Tri-State Import and he said try CarParts (now CarQuest). I called them and they said they could only do a valve job. I need my heads resurfaced as well as a valve job.

Anyone know where I can get this work done?

You may want to try the following:

Ask for Jay. I have known him for over 10 years, and have had them do a ton for me. They are in Huntsville, Al. and good to deal with. They should be able to handle the head machining that you need.

There is a guy right here in Bradley County who does excellent machine work on heads. Call Scott Roberts at 413-3451. He can help you out.

I just tried that number for Scott Roberts and they said it was a wrong number...

Any other places to try?

This is the last thing I really have to get done before I put this thing back together!
