Update on he shifting problem

Just thought I would post an Update for those of you who helped me.

I will get the new transaxle tomorrow evening....But when I went to pull out the old transaxle..I found the Wrong hardware connecting the shift rod to the transmission. the PO used an Oversize bolt that threaded into the shift rod...but did not make contact or did not tread into the shift rod of the transmission... PROPERLY..so the adjustment was WAY off as well as a Missing Bowden tube

The trans would just not get into gear without major grinding

I have no doubt that when the new transaxle in in..with the proper shift rod connecting bolt..new clutch cable and Bowden tube..Adjusted properly
that the shifting problems will be gone
so to sum it up this is what I found...wrong bolt connection the shift rod to the trans...Bolt not going into the hole allowing slippage of the shift rod
No Bowden tube

I guess some people should take up golf....Now I will need to work out the front end problem when I am done
thank you everyone that helped
