Turn signal switch Question

« on: February 18, 2008, 12:29:10 PM »
I have the money to replace my broken turn signal switch on my 1969 beetle (birthday money from the parents today ) but i need some advice where to get one first. Should i go to Mainly here in chattanooga or order from a place like Mid American, SoCal or Airheads. All my wiring is fine i just had some parts fall out of the old one when i replaced the ignition switch so i plan on just splicing the wires together if i can when i get it. I have found a couple used ones that are 1969 bugs  but they say that they will not work with bugs with a 2 speed wiper switch ( which i have ). Are they correct? Any help will be great........Rob
