I would like to hear it instead of pecking my brains off on the forum.
I can testify to his ablity to diagnose from hearing it . . . I thought I had a bad throw out bearing . . . David heard it from 50 feet away and told me the pilot bearing in the gland nut was toast and while I had it out to fix it, I should thighen the left head. There was nothing but a dry rusty powder in the gland nut and 6 of the head bolts on the left side were less than finger tight! After I re-torqued the heads, what I would have sworn was an exhaust leak was gone.
