Single idf 44 carb problems:/

Hooked my idf up but having problems with my throttle coming back to the stop position!!! Any help would be good?

Does it have a spring?

i.e. does it have a return spring on the throttle arm for the carb.
My aftermarket dual Kadron's linkage didn't have a return spring and the little spring on the gas pedal just laughed at pulling that back to idle.
You may have to get creative and hook one around the intake or something.
I just bet there is a hole cast somewhere in the intake and throttle arm to do just this...

All of above plus sometimes you can pull the cable through the carb connector to tight and the pedal stop will keep the carb from closing . If so just loosen the connector a bit to put a little slack in the cable.

i kind of figured i would have to add another spring. ill have to try that. thank you all! i would definitely like to become a member. how can i do this?

alright i fixed the linkage on it and some what tuned it. but it keeps back fireing out the tailpipe when driving it. i have never messed with one of these things before. i have looked up on how to tune it and everything but still cant figure out. i really need someone who knows what they are doing to help me please! you can call or txt me at 423-240-5884 names Ray.
