Seam sealers

« on: July 04, 2004, 12:05:47 AM »
Got the floor pans and insert welded in today. Would like to know what is a good seam sealer or type of sealer to run down the tunnel / over the welds?
Thanks
Ron

I'm sure most of the auto parts stores sell it but I know at O'Reilly's, you have to ask for it. I prefer the 3M. It's a little more espensive but the old saying "you get what you pay for" seems to fall into play here as well. You will have to ask the clerk for it.

Thanks Herb,
Your right, if I wouldn't have asked for it, would have ended up with another brand. This 3m sealer is in a caulking looking tube
