Speaking of crap,  your Bus is starting to look good.  Not being a welder what is that "do dad" thats stuck to the side panel ?   Some fancy kind of ground connection ?  I can't tell by the pics.

It's an extension... the bus is electric, so i am gonna need a bunch of extension cords.... :lol:

It's a magnetic base with a locator for your grounding cable.  that and my auto darkening helmet are two of my best investments... 8)

I bought an auto darkening helmet from Harbor Freight years ago for something like $50.  Have been very pleased with it.  My dad bought one when they first came out.  It was from some Swiss company and was like $700!  I would like to get a magnetic ground like yours.  Would make life very easy.  Where'd ya get it?

Got mine off of one of the tool trucks, matco i think.... i saw it, recognized  what it was, snatched it up, and have been uber pleased with it... :D

less than 30 bucks if i remember...
pretty rare occurence on a tool truck.  i assume you could prob. find them at lowe's or something.

Kewl !!!   I never have seen one before.  I'm going to try to find one.   I to have a Harbor Freight  auto- helmet and just love it.  Its the greatest for people who wear Glasses and can't find his way home without them like me:thumbs-up:
