And zen, do you know of a way to clean chrome up really nice?

  Aaron

You're asking ME how to "clean up" chrome?

         Haven't you ever seen pictures of Homer?     OK, here's how I clean up chrome . . . take it to the do-it-yourself car wash and spray it off.  If it's not clean enough, go to Wal-mart and by some chrome colored Krylon and spray on it.

I can't beleive you asked ME that!

Ok, I think I've gotten myself back together here . . .                . . . maybe not      . . .  OK . . . maybe you better ask someone who has actually "cleaned" something before!
Now if you ever want to know how to make something look old, dirty, rusty and beat up . . . I'm your man.  I can help you with that one.   :thumbs-up:   Can't give you advice on cleaning chrome though.  Probably anyone else on this forum can.

Aaron, the best stuff I've used is the paste-type Mothers or Eagle One chrome cleaner. Have lots of rags and elbow grease.

Aaron, Richard Strout is the man for your window stuff. His phone # is in the Collegedale section of the Chatt. phone book. Look it up.

:D What Anthony said!!!   But once you get it right, it is lots easier to keep up.

Now Zen, you know how to clean chrome. The problem with Homer is you got carried away and rubbed all the chrome off!!!

Actually, I've got some chrome that I painted over starting to rear its ugly head . . . But I've got some red Krylon to paint back over the emblem.  If I took the time to rub some of the chrome off, maybe the paint would stay on longer.

 I hate it when that happens. You think you have all the chrome gone and it is like a "bad dream", it keeps coming back!!!!

We ordered the seat covers and carpet from Rocky Mtn motorworks a long time ago.  Just stay with products from TMI or Sewfine and you'll do alright.  We had the headliner done by a guy in Rossville at a place called Lathams.  I don't know if he still does them or not.  I think his number is in phone book.   :)

Aaron,  Thats him. My mistake. I get Apison and Collegedale confused when it comes to phone numbers.  Richard is the only Strout out there. Best time to call is in the eveings.

Hey,   a ragtop sounds like fun.  did you figure out what one costs?

It might be easy to make one with snap buttons like a boat canvass uses,

or with a one of those big magnet realty signs they stick on car doors.

My Super has lots of holes in the floor so if it leaks a little it will self-bail.
