Now if you ever want to know how to make something look old, dirty, rusty and beat up . . . I'm your man. I can help you with that one. :thumbs-up: Can't give you advice on cleaning chrome though. Probably anyone else on this forum can.

I thought that you were the guru of all trades man.. That is what I was thinkin.. Anyway now that you say it homer does look a little dirty. Anyway I will try to find something myself. Thanks anyway. And what about the guy that does the window scrapers and the wing vent seals?? I need to contact him please. I get my bug out of painting comming soon and need someone to put these in for me.. Aaron, the best stuff I've used is the paste-type Mothers or Eagle One chrome cleaner. Have lots of rags and elbow grease.

Actually, I've got some chrome that I painted over starting to rear its ugly head . . . But I've got some red Krylon to paint back over the emblem. If I took the time to rub some of the chrome off, maybe the paint would stay on longer.

We ordered the seat covers and carpet from Rocky Mtn motorworks a long time ago. Just stay with products from TMI or Sewfine and you'll do alright. We had the headliner done by a guy in Rossville at a place called Lathams. I don't know if he still does them or not. I think his number is in phone book.

Hey, a ragtop sounds like fun. did you figure out what one costs?

It might be easy to make one with snap buttons like a boat canvass uses,

or with a one of those big magnet realty signs they stick on car doors.

My Super has lots of holes in the floor so if it leaks a little it will self-bail.
