Quick speedometer question

« on: April 11, 2008, 01:39:15 PM »
last night when i turned on my lights i had no lights in the speedometer. Fun driving home when you can not see how fast you are going. The head lights etc all work and the light on the original radio does also. All the fuses are good. could it be the bulbs went bad or something else before i dive into the wiring.

Sort of unsual to blow all the bulbs, but I have seen it happen. I would take a test light and check for power at the bulb sockets on the back of the speedo.

Or clean the crusty stuff off the back ofspedometer and make sure the bulbs are getting a good ground.
